So you’ve decided to make a corporate video. Great move. A well-made video speaks louder than a bulky PowerPoint or a printed brochure. But for it to work, your facility needs to be camera-ready. A little planning goes a long way in making sure the final output is smooth, professional, and aligned with your brand.
Here’s what you should keep in mind before the production team steps in:
- Tidy Up the Key Areas. The camera sees everything. Ensure that the areas being filmed are clean, organized, and free of clutter.
- Brief the Team. If your staff will be seen in the video, let them know in advance. Ensure their uniforms are clean and consistent.
- Sort Out Permissions and Safety. If there are areas in your plant or factory that need special access, make arrangements in advance. Also, check if the crew needs to wear safety gear.
- Communicate with the Maintenance Team. Make sure there’s no ongoing repair or maintenance work on the day of the shoot. No background noise, broken lights, or messy wiring should be visible.
- Avoid Operational Disruptions. Try to avoid peak hours during the shoot. The goal is to show your facility in action — not in chaos.
- Identify Your Best Spots. You know your facility better than anyone else. Let the crew know about the areas you’re proud of — could be a fully automated line, a quality testing lab, or a dispatch unit.
- Decide Who Will Speak (if Required). If your video includes interviews or voice bites, decide in advance who will be speaking and what so that they’re prepared.
We’ve worked with several Corporate Video Projects where just a little preparation made a big difference. Whether you’re working with The Cameraä Man or any other corporate video makers in Delhi, prepping your space shows your seriousness and helps get the most out of your investment.
